Gliders Wanted For Hire

The Competition Organisers have been contacted by International Competitors seeking to hire an Australian Glider, ideally with Trailer and a Vehicle, for either or both, the Pre-Worlds in 2022 and/or the World Gliding Championships in 2023.

These inquiries are listed below.  If you wish to respond, just click on the item of interest to go to the “Get In Touch” page.  Then provide the Glider Line number, your contact details and Glider Type you have for for rent.  We will respond and put you directly in touch with the potential hirer.

  1. German pilot – Requests LS 3 with flaperons (not LS3a).  Wanted for WGC2023

  2. German Pilot – Requests ASW27 or ASG29 15m tips.  Wanted for AusGlide 2022 Pre-Worlds and WGC2023

  3. US Team looking for reliable car to hire in Australia or will trade  for the use of their car and Discus in the southwest US for a soaring safari or contest.

  4. Croatian Team  looking for Club and Standard class gliders for 2023 Worlds.  CLUB CLASS – ASW24,20,19; Jantar Standard 3; Pegase; Discus; LS3, LS4; SZD 55.  STANDARD CLASS – Discus 2; LS8; ASW28

  5. German Pilot – Requests ASG29/15m or ASW27 alt. Discus B to hire for AusGlide 2022. Pilot owns ASG29 in Germany, 6,000hrs TT + 45yrs exprience.
